Where does your home's energy go?
What solar energy does for you
Up to 90% off your bill
A properly sized on-grid system covers most of your consumption, and the surplus is credited to your bill (CREG Resolution 174/2021).
Backup during outages
With a hybrid system and lithium batteries your home keeps running even when the grid fails. Ideal for farms and areas with frequent cuts.
Monitoring from your phone
See in real time how much your system is generating and how much you are saving, straight from an app.
Your home is worth more
A house with a solar system installed and legalised appraises higher and sells faster.
Warranties of up to 25 years
Tier 1 panels with a 25-year performance warranty, inverters rated for 10+ years and warranted aluminium mounting.
Financing available
Green credit, leasing or staged payments: the monthly saving helps pay for the system.
Frequently asked questions
What happens at night or on cloudy days?
On an on-grid system your home draws from the grid automatically, without you noticing. If you choose a hybrid with batteries, you first use the energy you stored during the day.
How much does a system for a house cost?
It depends on your consumption. As a reference, a home with a monthly bill of COP $400,000–$700,000 usually needs a 4 to 7 kWp system. The calculator gives you an estimate in a minute, and the free study refines it with your real bill.
Does the system need maintenance?
Very little: an inspection and cleaning every six months. Solarwin schedules it automatically and reminds you.
Does it work for apartments or gated communities?
For individual apartments the available roof is the limit, but it works very well for houses, farms and the common areas of residential complexes. Tell us your case and we will assess it.
